A family business with tradition for over 30 years!
The passion for four-legged friends has always been there. It all started in the 70s with the opening of a dog grooming salon, which was continued by the second generation years later.
Many dog lovers also count cats as part of their family, and the question of a "proper" scratching post came up again and again. Thus, the idea was born! It took a while until we had gathered all the facts. Such a tree had to be very stable, last a long time, and visually blend perfectly into any living environment.
1989
In 1989, the whole thing got a name. We founded the company Pet Fun. Starting small, the first positive comments from our customers were not long in coming. Meanwhile, we deliver our scratching posts, sisal barrels, and accessories worldwide.
Pet Fun works with WKS – Brücke Schleswig Holstein – a local workshop for people with disabilities. The constantly growing number of orders also created new jobs, and after moving to our new hall in 2014, the Pet Fun team now has enough space to carefully produce all parts.
As a sign of our appreciation, we have named many of our trees after our employees: e.g., Gesa, Heike, Tanja.
We look forward to continued great collaboration. Our passion has become our profession.
