About us

A family business with tradition for over 30 years!

We have always had a passion for our four-legged friends. It all started in the 1970s with the opening of a dog grooming salon, which was taken over by the second generation years later.

Many dog lovers also count cats among their family, and the question of a “sensible” scratching post came up again and again. And so the idea was born! It took a while to gather all the facts. Such a tree had to be very stable, durable, and fit perfectly into any living environment.

1989

In 1989, the whole thing was given a name. We founded the company Pet Fun. Starting on a small scale, it didn't take long for the first positive comments from our customers to come in. We now deliver our scratching posts, sisal barrels, and accessories worldwide.

Pet Fun works with WKS – Brücke Schleswig Holstein – a local workshop for people with disabilities. The constantly growing number of orders has also created new jobs, and after moving to our new hall in 2014, the Pet Fun team now has enough space to carefully manufacture all parts.

As a sign of our appreciation, we have named many of the trees after our employees: e.g., Gesa, Heike, Tanja.

We look forward to continuing our great collaboration. Our passion has become our profession.
