Cat trees, scratching barrels and wall furniture from solid wood
For over 30 years we have been crafting cat trees, wall furniture and cat accessories from solid wood in our own workshop in Itzehoe, Schleswig-Holstein — piece by piece, by hand. Every model is built to last and especially robust for large pedigree cats like Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat or British Shorthair. Even in multi-cat households, our cat trees deliver what plush constructions cannot: tightly wound sisal, bolted solid-wood joints and replaceable individual parts.
As a German family business, we produce without cardboard cores and without cheap imports — instead with solid wooden trunks, artisanal care and in an inclusive workshop.

Scratching Barrels & Sisal Barrels for Large Cats
Sturdy solid-wood barrels – compact to XXL, 60 to 180 cm
Our scratching barrels (also called sisal barrels) are the heart of our workshop in Itzehoe. With a diameter of 42 or 52 cm and heights from 60 to 180 cm, they give large and heavy cats a sturdy retreat for scratching, climbing and sleeping. Each barrel is made of solid wood, wrapped in tightly wound sisal and lined with carpet inside. Choose from several colours and heights – from 120 cm we recommend the optional base plate for maximum stability.

Space-saving climbing solutions, even for multi-cat households
Our wall-mounted cat trees, climbing boards and wall hammocks offer climbing fun in a small space — ideal as a supplement to a freestanding cat tree or as a standalone solution for small apartments and multi-cat households. All wall furniture is crafted from solid wood, can be flexibly combined and adapted to any wall area — stable enough even for large pedigree cats. Especially popular is the combination of wall-mounted cat tree, wall bowl and climbing boards: it turns an unused wall into a full climbing course — expandable later, and removable plus reusable when moving house.

Every product is handcrafted in our own workshop — with attention to detail and a commitment to lasting quality. With every purchase you also support our inclusive workshop. Solid wood, sisal & handcraft — built for large pedigree cats
We rely on massive solid wood trunks for maximum stability — even large pedigree cats like Maine Coon, Ragdoll or British Shorthair find a secure hold. The sisal rope is wound extra tightly and glued so it withstands even intense wear and multi-cat households. Fabrics and cushions are removable and washable. The result: cat trees that not only look good but last for decades — and can be refreshed with replacement parts if needed. If a sisal post wears down after years of intensive use, we can re-wrap it. Individual parts such as lying surfaces, cushion covers or hammocks can be reordered at any time. This turns a cat tree into a piece of furniture that accompanies several generations of cats.
